I'm on a couple of Prime's FB pages, and I can't say I've ever seen the term used there. My only guess would be they're speaking of the time zone they're in. As in: "These yahoo's expect me to deliver by 0730 local."
I often use the term when conferring with my dispatcher , so as not to confuse which time zone I'm referring to, mine or his.

I'm not sure anybody knows what it means. It seems like a little game they play to me. Kinda like in grade school when kids have these little games where they say some word at the end of whatever statement they are making. It's silly to me.

It seems derogatory, but what does it mean?
