It has been about five years now since I got my cdl using this website, just never did create an account to log in until just now. Just never really thought about it until just recently my family and I decided to move to Tennessee, so I will be changing jobs as well. Now I am going to need to get a few endorsements and remembered the good material you guys have here.

Figured it was about time to say thank you as well.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

There are a few local jobs around Knoxville that I am looking at. I have always wanted to live near the Smoky Mountains.
