Hi all;

She was fired today for having 2 backing incidents within 90 days. Does anyone here know of a company that may take a chance on her

Maybe Carolina Cargo? I have heard they are a second chance company. Maybe Brett or Old School or any of the moderators will chime in here in a few with some legendary sage advise.

Two? Most companies have a three strike rule. Anything else occur?

That's what she told me I didn't ask her for the details I guess I should. Also they are going to put it on her DAC

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

Actually there are probably quite a few companies that will give her a shot.

Here is a good place to start, even though it seems unrelated:

Trucking Companies That Will Hire Felons

Those companies will tend to be a little more lenient in their hiring.

Carolina Cargo, CR England, CRST, and Swift are all places worth checking into. Carolina Cargo is one of the few second-chance companies and the others are just really large and tend to look at each person's record individually. Other companies tend to just rule people out based on certain criteria without really looking into it.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
