Soon to be a Newbie, going for my training on 1/29/18 and really looking forward to it. Worked in the hospitality and telecom business for many years as an employee and the last 8 years as a business owner. Sold everything and wanted a career change. I can remember since my high school days I always thought about driving trucks for a living, now 49 years old, single, kids are bigger now so it is a perfect time for me to do it. I have been reading for months now, thought I would just say hi and thanks for all the helpful information on the site.

Thanks in advance for the help :)

Dan

It helps if you title your posts. What company are you going to. Good luck. We're here to help.

Apologies, I saw it afterwards and don't seem to be able to edit it. Thanks for the welcome, I will be joining Stevens Transport, a great friend who now is an O/O ran for them for 5 years and suggested it. I talk to a few others as I know there are pros and cons to all of the and really was sold on the way they treated me more than anything else.
