I like this guy! I just stumbled across this the other day and I thought I'd share it.

Pam Transport put out this video from one of their drivers. He goes by "Trucker Joshua" and I don't know him, but I like him! You can really tell how genuinely excited he is to be out there trucking and he has some great advice and good cheer to share.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Ah, finally someone kinda normal.

I was thinking of joining Palmer just so I could track down Ally and put a sock in her mouth.... (the singing narrative drove me nuts)
