I looked it up and found several “5 Best Cameras”...

But I’m not sure I trust all those reports...

So... I’ve been lucky... but I think it’s time to get a camera just in case one of these 4 wheelers catches me on a bad day.

Any suggestions for a good dash cam. I run mostly nights and in traffic.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Unfortunately a Gopro doesn't have a continuous recording loop where it will record indefinitely and automatically overwrite the oldest footage with the newest footage once the storage is full. This is a critical function for dash cams. Not only can they record continuously but they can save any clip at the push of a button.

Gopro's are awesome though. I even have the Gopro Fusion 360 camera. It's astounding.

Brett the Hero 5 And 6 Black will do continuous looping in intervals of 5 20 60 and 120mins. Several other models will also but these are off the top of my head.

Wow, I've had the Hero 4 Black for years and I had no idea it could do that. I must have gone through 5,000 tutorials and used it countless times over the years and somehow never knew that feature existed. I've never even noticed a setting for it.

Get a cobra hd drive. Sure it’s pricey but it has loop, park mode and there is a app that can provide location so long you have the jd drive player on your pc(not good for editing sadly)
