Went from a 9 speed manual to a 12 speed auto.

I miss my 9 speed.

Generally on a down grade, I'll go into manual mode, choose a lower gear, set the jakes, then ride the jakes down.

If I speed up, I increase the jakes, if I'm starting to slow down too much, I'll reduce the jakes.

Always try to make it a game never to touch the service brake on the way down.

Inclement weather, different story.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

I'm actually sitting at the bottom of Cabbage right now. I HAD to stop and get me one of those "Cabbage Hill Survivor" shirts.

Saw a Prime truck stopped at a blueberry farm in Hammonton last night on my way back from Philly. Stopped and talked to him for a while. He was a 23 yo owner op...such a nice young man with a good head on his shoulders. I pumped Jarvis for info about the road and business...then gave him some lessons on life in general. Fair trade I'd say.
