Hey ya’ll, sorry I have been MIA again. Real life has kicked my butt and thrown curve balls at the speed of a fast ball. I have made positive changes in my life and am doing well. I went back to hauling chemicals and that is going better than I had expected. I’m assigned out of a corporate QC terminal in East St Louis Il. All the staff here are great. I have already been told I can’t play the new guy card, because in 3 weeks I have exceeded their expectations. I’m picking up tonight and heading toward the house for a few days next week. Gotta tidy up a few loose ends. I’m running all over the lower 48 so maybe will run across some of ya’ll one day. When I come off hometime I’m heading to west texas. Just came out of the northeast and it reminded me why I don’t like going up there. Rainy I spent the night in Rahway NJ and was not impressed. Sorry to bag on your home state
Don’t stress on ragging Rahway, even Jersey peeps rag that place. Plus she’s well farther south from there.
Welcome back. No more long nose Pete huh? Good luck on the new gig.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
Thanks Splitter, and yeah I still have a long nose Pete, just a different color.
Thanks for coming by. Glad all is well.

Well, I guess I'll quit looking for your rig parked in a cemetary for your break now. You're the only driver I'd ever heard of who parked his truck at graveyards! It's great to hear from you!
Thanks ya’ll. OS I’ve always been a little different lol. I’ll be around more often. I would love to meet you one day. I’m running all over the place, so never say never.
So what happened with the cemetery gig? I thought you got a contract and guarantees?
I did, and they were honoring it no problem. My life took a unforseen turn and I wanted out. My boss didn’t like it, but he understood it. No need to go into detail. The contract was more for me to have a guarantee, and they were very kind to let me walk away. I have an open door back if I ever choose to use it. I never say never but I hope to not need it.

Welcome back PJ.
I understand. Sorry to pry.
