Western has freight all over. My buddy drives flatbed for Western. He is constantly out in the SW. Old School started his career there, so he will be able to give you a much better perspective.
Hello Danny!
I drove flat bed at Western Express and traveled all over the country. I worked there for 16 months and hit every state with the exception of Montana and Washington. We went everywhere, but there will always be times that you'll go to the Northeast.
You may find this older thread to be interesting. It details A Trip I Took With My Oldest Daughter Riding Along. It should give you an idea about how that job worked for me.

Hi everyone, new to this forum and was wondering if I can get more info on the flatbed side of western express? I am more curious on length of haul and areas of pickup and drop off. I hate driving the northeast so I would like to stay clear of that if possible. I am new to flatbed work, but have about 11 months of otr experience. Most of it with CRST. I am use to driving the Midwest and actually love that area. Not so much the east coast. Anyway thanks in advance!
OTR:
Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
