I went down to DMV today to take my eight tests. Well I passed all by Gen. Knowledge and D/T. I missed one too many on both. I'm going to study some more and go back again. But I passed: Tanker, Hazmat , Air Brakes, Class C, Motorcycle and Combination. It was like a zoo today, so many people. But they only open on Saturday once a month. Only had one other person (when I was there) taking the Class A, mostly getting their licence for the first time. The normal Commercial License facility is only open M-F 8-4. And written tests close at 3.

I know that people from other states don't want to here me rambling on. So here I stop!

HAZMAT:

Hazardous Materials

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

Good thought. I wished I had passed on two of them maybe one of the other ones would have helped. It's ok Monday will be here before long.

Just dust off and remember what they call the person who graduates from medical school with the lowest GPA...doctor.
