What about the large-scale Rand McNally Motor Carrier Atlas?

https://store.randmcnally.com/large-scale-motor-carriers-road-atlas.html

Anyone know if it's worth the buy or is it too big/bulky?

I was going to get a large print deluxe edition before I looked it over. for me, the area the large scale maps show is too small. But that is a personal preference thing I suppose. I ended up replacing my old one with a 2018 Deluxe - regular size. It is great in case I need it for something, but to tell the truth I haven't actually used an atlas for a long time. but gotta have one on the truck in case it is needed.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I agree with big Scott.. the larger print Atlas is awful. Very thin laminated pages and tons of them. Instead of 2 pages facing each other for a state, some states are 4&5 pages. Not at all practical. Pages are so thin that they rip even though laminated.

I highly recommend a small magnifying glass. I don't need it very often, but grateful that I keep one for the times I've needed it. Pick one up at a Walmart or any truck stop for under 5 bucks. Who needs that gargantuan large print monstrosity lol.

When I was outfitting my first truck I thought I was soooo smart because I bought a magnifying glass. A couple weeks later I'm at a Love's waiting for a shower and I notice they sell magnifying glasses. Hmm, I guess I'm not the only blind ox hitched to this wagon.

I have both but prefer the large scale. It is easier to.read in the cities where many interstates connect with inner and outer loops. but again its preference
