I go into the business about three years ago thinking it was an excellent business opportunity. I started in with flatbed but found that the money I had left after dealing with one carrier was not going to make it. The truck I started with was a used International 2005 it ran ok but needed repair. I heard and read the higher value cargo was refrigerated items, so I partnered with a driver in that space and leased a Truck. I came to find out that I had a lot to learn about refrigerated logistics and what goes in trucking.
Fast forward three years and I have a 2017 Kenworth T680 and a 2007 Great Dane with a 2016 Carrier Reefer unit, that I need to sell can't find any place to sell it. I had a series of events sack the business, and I've just parked the truck until I can sell. Some of the sites I've seen on the web never answer when I call or when I send an email. I am starting to think they are just harvesting the email address.
Any Advice?
