It's refreshing to find customers that allow parking for drivers to take their 10. Many of our deliveries and shippers don't allow it (manufacturing / industrial locations), so we have to get creative. Glad it worked out as detention rather than a forced sit out for you!

Well today is my first Layover since starting in trucking, I was assigned a work assignment that delivered somewhere in New York at mid night strict appointment time, which my DBL thanked me for since he said they struggle daily to make early morning deliveries. I took my 10 hour break at the customer since they allowed over night parking. They couldn't find me anything I could pickup today, so I got assigned a load that picks up 11am tomorrow. I'm just glad I'm get paid something, rather than it being like my 34 hour reset.
