Excellent question and responses. This has been on my list to check out.
My grandkids are in different cities and I was wondering if it would work to catch a 34hr reset for a visit.
If possible, grab a load going near their homes and pay a visit.

Bill, I do this quite often. Sometimes I might just spend the night near their town at a close by truck stop. I'll call them and we will go out to eat together or they may have me over for supper or even allow me to sleep in one of their bedrooms. I vary on what I actually do. Sometimes I can arrange a 34 hour break, or other times it is just an overnight visit. Either way it is great fun, and those kids just love to get to sit in your rig!

Double locking simply means I put a company provided lock on EACH door. Just a little extra insurance that no door will ever be pried open. If someone really wants in my trailer, they'll be cutting off 2 locks to get to the freight.

Ah, OK. I thought you were talking about some trick with the truck doors. LOL
