My mentor and I arrived in Lancaster about 6:30 and are waiting for our 8am appointment with our massive 8000 lb. load for a live unload. We are then going to deadhead into Ogden. But at least I get more drive time.

Deadhead:

To drive with an empty trailer. After delivering your load you will deadhead to a shipper to pick up your next load.

Well because of my shut down we might late for pickup but I don't know. We had a pickup time of noon when we went to bed and were only 2 hours from our destination. Well this is a learning curve.

A late pick up is better than no pick up because you dozed off while driving. No load is worth your life. Especially not a load of candy.
