LTL is a cake walk. It's also one of the best paying jobs out there and will get you home at least most nights. The downside is that it's painfully boring. It's like the trucking version of working on a production line. You're doing the same thing day after day. But some people love that.

I have uncles and cousins that spent decades working on production lines in the auto industry. My dad was a steel worker for 18 years. I could never wrap my head around how they could do it. Their lives were exactly like the movie GroundHog Day. They got up every single day of their lives for decades and did the exact same thing over and over again. My right eye is twitching now just from imagining that. If I didn't live in a one story house I would jump out the window right now.
