Ldrship never told us they have a terminal in Niagara Falls Ny. Lol. I came to the tank wash which houses an affiliate of hours and they have more trucks and trailers here than we do...
Lol
CRS, or somewhere else? CRS is a repair shop that has a few. This may be a new place I don’t know about yet.
I may still be in Waterloo when you roll through, at this rate. :)
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Yep. You are two hours away. If you have time, and I’m still here, which I’m sure I will be, I’m good for at least a cup of coffee. :)

There are several repair facilities around the country we work out agreements with to use them as drop lots. Basically they get promised any work that comes up. When times are lean they go inspecting drop trailers to find work. Win/Win. We have that repair shop in Niagara Falls, there is Quality Truck & Trailer in Appleton, there is Best One tire repair shops we use, one is in Clarksville, TN. There is Cherokee Tractor / Trailer repair in Cherokee, AL. There was a place in SC near the SC/NC border we used, but they moved operations. Sometimes we use our Regular shippers as drop lots. There are several Master Fleet shops we use. Most of our drop lots are near regular shipper/receivers. If you find one of our drop lots, look in the nearest industrial park and great chance you will see a line of Wolding trucks picking up or delivering. Perhaps even both, lol.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Grumpy it was CRS. They got me in and out and I had to haul the mail to get down to Delaware Gap Pa. I had a 0530 load time and no way to stop off and make my appt on time. I rolled in here last night and the loader banged on my door this morning when he was ready. They want me to start running this on a somewhat regular basis, so at some point we’ll grab a cup. Ldrship yes there is a shipper about 1/4 mi down the road and it looked like a sea of ya’ll trailers parked in there. I didn’t see the name of the company. It’s close to Olin chemical and may be part of them.

With it being in Niagara Falls, there is only 1 shipper/receiver (technically 2, since it is 2 companies housed in the same complex) Norampak/Greenpac. Grumpy will become intimately familiar with them, lol. They are 1 of the reasons for our huge amount of hourly drivers in the NE.

No problem. I assumed you wouldn’t have time.

Grumpy, You will haul so much stuff into and out Norampak/ Greenpac that you will soon begin to feel like one of those names should be on the side of the truck instead, lol.
