I had a top manager of all dedicated (think 172) dedicated accounts call me and talk from my company(knew his name just never talked), without even telling him what Swift offered me, he offered the same money, and on top of that, out of the blue I get a call saying I have a new fleet manager , old one apparently left the company, (maybe why messages recently went ignored), long and short, I was ready to leave because company was disorganized and not communicating....

What may have precipitated this, I was talking with a driver with my company of 25 yrs, he mentioned i should call upper management, he probably knew i wasnt going to, I think he did...

Swift doesn't have dedicated accounts in my area right now, so staying with current company...

Fleet Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Okay, cool. Lots of options for Swift Dedicated accounts.

Walmart, Target, Quaker, Weyerhaeuser, Kohl’s...etc., etc. I’ve been running Walmart in the NE for almost 6 years now. Happy to offer input if you need it.

Took a lumber load from them out of Idabel, OK last week.

That tarping station also kicked my ass. Every day is a learning lesson.

Also, that OK Turnpike caused some of the lumber to start walking out the backside of the load.
