CR England now has 3 people to a truck...no lie, they put a bunk above the driver and passenger seats. You can find videos on YouTube.
I have no idea how this affects training, pay, miles etc. I am not sure if they are teaming or running it as a solo with alternating student drivers while the instructor teaches.
This is no reason to choose a company. Although CRE may be a great choice for some, there are much higher paying companies out there. They are often seen as a second chance company.
I stand corrected.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I know that Schneider trains husbands and wives. But I think they train each partner as an "individual". If both graduate from the Training Academy, (and are still married and can tolerate being cooped up with each other for long periods of time), then they can team up. To be sure, call the company if you are interested. I do know you both have to have your CDLs beforehand, as they don't do CDL training any longer. Good luck!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
The problem with training a team together is 3 people living in a closet. It's not conducive to learning. It's best for you to each learn to be solo drivers and do everything. Then when you team you are less codependent on each other. Good luck.
