So just shifting at the optimal time and not idling right? Not a fuel bonus just just a safety bonus. But I do think it says something in there about not having crazy bad fuel mileage but no specific numbers. From what I understand, as long as people make the required mileage with no tickets/accidents then they are pretty good about paying it.

I did the same miles today but straight shot w/ a 30 min break. Drove from Laramie, WY to Council Bluffs, IA. All while steady bumping 58 mph. My fleet fuel avg was above 8. Mine was at 7.7. I had to run at 62 for a few weeks with heavy loads.

I used to get better mileage in Rainy's condo than in this lightweight. Oh well, we'll see what my numbers will be next week since the truck will be parked for hometime. Lol

Splitter, So you run at 58 on purpose for fuel mileage?

Yes sir! I'm governed at 62. I just went 85 miles after the low fuel warning light came on. It didn't move until I hit the jake at my fuel exit. Nearly 1200 miles on one fill up.

Can you reset your mileage under the trip Meter?

I was at 8.3 coming from WI, until I spent 3 hours at walking speed going through Chicago. That took it to 7.6, and the PA hills took it to 7.1.

My best rum so far was 622 miles.
