So, im curious. I was recently contacted by a company Ive been trying to work for and really wanted to work for. They brought me in to meet me and have an in-person interview. Shortly after that, the next day, they had me take a drug test. The next day they brought me in to do a road test which went well. My question is, i havent been contacted them since Thursday, today is now sunday, and I was wondering...at this point am i pretty much hired? I think they were just waiting on drug test results but that shouldve only taken 48 hours. But if a company had me go through all of these procedures does that mean im hired? or is it just a good indicator that MIGHT be hired?

I'd say you're chances look great, but it may take until Monday to get test results back.

Most of these companies are fairly sluggish with their processes. In my experience, I might say I'm ready! Let's go! But they say let's wait a week. Or two. The individual is almost ready to move ahead faster than the company.
