I came across Georgia today from South Carolina headed to Tennessee. DOT was stopping trucks and Georgia state troopers were everywhere especially on down grades. My truck only does 58 mph plus my qc screams u are exceeding the speed limit if u go one mile over. ( Got to love her!) however they were getting their share of trucks! Beware!

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Donna, you know you can set it so you don't get that annoying message. Many times, the posted limit is different than the one programmed in the QC. I see the bright red warning & check the posted limits before reacting.

Splitter I can’t figure out how to turn off. I asked Rainy but she didn’t know either. I have the newest qc.
