That is so awesome to hear, thanks!!!
Every driver on the road can tell you a "when I was new" story. We have all been there. You will be scared for a bit, but then things click.
The most daunting task is backing, but if you ask your trainer for lots of backing, you can conquer this. When I calmed myself and wasnt nervous about other drivers, I was able to comcentrate on the backing. Like a puzzle "How do i get this piece into that hole".
You CAN do this. I did. Any training company will have no issues with your lack of experience. I went from never having driven a manual to driving 5 (3 in training) different manuals and 2 automatics.
So what are you waiting for????

Thank you Rainy for writing this. Getting Past Your Fear of the Unknown is what I needed to hear. I have been considering a career for quite some time. Even though I have a valid Class A CDL , I have zero experience. It has been 10 years since I graduated from truck driving school. So, I have fears about going through whatever company's training I would have to go thru. I do realize that everyone makes mistakes. But, the fear of failure has held me back at this point. Thank you very much for the story you told about what happened by you turning in the wrong drive. It does give me some hope to try and overcome my fear.
