Has anyone here read the operator's manual for the truck you are currently driving? Does your truck still have the manual?

The reason why I bring this up is because I wanted to know when to operate the fuel heater. The only thing the manual said was..."Fuel Heater...Turn switch on to activate Fuel Heater."

Well is this a PREHEAT switch, or is it an actual Fuel Heater that I can run all night?

Most trucks that have engine block heaters and fuel heaters have a plug under the driver side door to plug up a cord that you have plugged up to an outlet. Either of these require electric to run.

Now remember this. Almost all truck Manuel's that come with a truck covers ALL the options that come with your truck. But you may or may not have a fuel heater in your truck. Only your company can answer that.

We'll there is a switch for it, and a light does come on when I turn the switch on.

So I think I have a fuel heater. I just need to find out if it works like a preheat switch, like 10 minutes prior, or an overnight type of thing.

I would be calling the shop for that info.

That's what I plan on doing. I don't want to break anything.
