Hi there, Want to share with you my story and ask for your advice. My brother loved smoking while driving. He also smoked weed sometimes and once he got in an accident because of that. He's disabled now... Don't want to explain all the details. For 2 years. Now I caught myself on vaping while driving. Yes, I don't smoke cigarettes, but I vape. I didn't think about that in the past, but now I'm afraid. What if I had the same situation?? I decided to quit everything. Found a good site, QuitSmokingCommunity so will share with you, maybe would be useful to someone else. But still thinking about visiting the doctor. Not sure if I'd be able to quit myself.

Steven, you are on the right path. I would highly encourage you to continue working on whatever it takes for you to quit. Great to hear from someone motivated to quit a bad habit. Good luck and let us know how it's going as you accomplish your goal. (And always GOAL)

Are we talking about vaping THC, or just vaping?

I'm sure truckers that smoke tobacco (or vape), doing it while in motion. There's no laws (to my knowledge) against it.

I'm almost 5 months off cigs, chew the gum like a fiend. Obviously quitting is going to be a good thing health-wise, and they're finding out that vaping is not all that much healthier than just smoking.

Trying to figure out what the question is here (since it is your first post), and how it relates to TRUCKING...

Rick

If you are vaping THC while driving...well anytime actually, you have an issue that needs immediate correction. As for vaping regular vape oil there's no issue while driving but since they add nicotine and other chemicals it's not a bad idea to look into cessation tools as it's still not healthy.

I find vaping even more harmful than smoking, at least equally harmful. It's basicly steam=water plus some essential oils in your lungs. So I think the right thing to do is quit smoking everything.
