Good call. That way, if you cannot deliver early, you are only a few minutes away, when your clock resets, vs 7hrs. When resetting, I try to be as close to shipper or receiver as possible, unless I am playing tourist.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

Was approved to deliver early, dropped the trailer off and now parked near by for my 34.

Awesome! This is a good weekend to be off the roads and that holiday driving chaos.

Yes, but even better... he is parked in MY HOOD!

This means food, transportation, shopping and recreation opportunities abound!

If you gotta take a 34 on a holiday weekend there are CLEARLY worse places to do so!

(FYI... my hood will soon be Kenosha).

Looking forward to seeing Jamie and meeting his wife soon!

I’m going to look you up whenever I get up there again, Marc. Bruce, too.

That would be AWESOME!

(As would meeting out on the road, should that come to pass for us both!)

Looks like Jamie needs his beauty sleep. Probably just breakfast tomorrow!

Traffic is crazy this weekend. I fought it till this morning. After running my 70 hr click to 1 minute left I was pretty much forced to reset. Grabbed a nice hotel room, and enjoying the coke 600 (nascar race)smile.gif

Me too! I’m on my third race for today (Monaco, Indy, and Charlotte).

I caught the end of the indy race, hoping penske can grab this one and make a double out of it. He has never done that. Great to see you back packratdancing-dog.gif
