Forrest, you are an overachiever!

I have a few ideas for you as far as your pre-trip inspection to make it easier for you.

Pre-trip Inspection:

A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.

Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.

I’m still wondering how that’s gonna go. That’s one thing I’m nervous about!

That's great news! You've been in here a while, and your resilience has definitely been tested. I love to witness resilience in people, and so far you've been stellar in that department.

Congratulations!

Thank you Old School. I’m so glad that I had you guys behind me pushing me along. I want to thank all of you. For staying with me through all of this. I’m no quitter. Losing my leg will never stop me. I still have one left.

Forrest, get yourself a telescoping mirror and a good flashlight. That way you can inspect almost anything under the tractor or trailer without having to climb underneath. Especially important to check if the locking jaws are secured around the king pin of the trailer.
