My friends see a considerable difference with voice and video. However, if you want it for video games, it wont work well. Also, if you park near someone who has one, rhey can interfere with each other and you will have issues unless you turn it off.
They range in price of $500 to $600 plus installation. I didnt want to spend that on a truck I wasnt planning on staying (my last truck has so many issues I got rid of it). Now that I have a brand new truck, I want one, but need to have time to schedule installation.

Some of it depends on your provider. If you're looking for better data speeds - it becomes even more provider specific.
Voice is one thing - data is another.

Remember it is a boost...if you have no signal at all, it wont help, so yes it does have to do with the provider.
