I’m at a Days Inn in Morris, IL until at least tomorrow. New, old truck I’m getting is in the shop in Joliet...

Well I tried to get Menedoz yesterday by 1430 but the trailer I picked up in Aurora yesterday was pretty dirty inside. By the time I cleaned it it, it was going to be questionable to get there by then. It was 1445 when I rolled in. Anyway I've been at the TA ever since. And they take no appointments just need to start in by 1700 on Sunday. If you can get over to the Ta, I buy ya a cup of coffee.

Yep the food is really good. Parking has been pretty full.since yesterday. But then it usually fills on the weekends.

Well Packrat I hope you get your tractor soon. Another time then.

Thanks Raptor, but it will need to be another time. I’ve been sick with something for the past three days, and would not want any o possibly spread it around.

PackRat, I know that you are on anti-rejection meds, right? And those lower your immunity. I hope your current illness is nothing really serious.

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Thanks folks. I’ll definitely be waiting. Got the rental car Thursday morning in Carlisle to go to Joliet to get my truck because I wanted an International. Truck was undergoing repairs at the Rush truck center in Joliet and supposedly would be ready on Saturday morning when I would arrive. Was told by the staff that it is on the list to GO IN for repairs, but is still on the lot. It needs two tires and has an a/c problem that I didn’t know about. “They didn’t tell you?”......Uhh, no.

Place is closed on Sundays, too, so I’ll call them in a couple hours for more good news. Hemmoraging money now until I get reimbursed. This is discouraging, but sometimes these things happen.

You drove all the way from Carlisle, PA to Joliet, IL just to get an International? Wow, that's dedication to a brand.

Get comfy in that hotel. Truck mechanics always use the word "hour" when they really mean "day" when giving an ETA for repairs.
