Cheers on the success, and a big YES on the microcosm size event that school is. You're on your way to do great things and have clearly absorbed good information on your journey.
I've only been out alone since June 10th and already team training / schooling seems ages ago.
Congratulations, Eric! And may your flowers bloom in abundance.

Hey guys and gals,
A few thoughts on the process of obtaining a CDL with company paid training and the role Trucking Truth has played.
I began this process months ago. While deciding I found Trucking Truth (TT). I read article after article. I made my own decisions. I felt more informed. After choosing an employer paid situation for school, I signed up for The High Road training aid (free). I studied my ass off and got my Permit. Took a bus to school, checked into my hotel and started school 2 weeks ago.
Basically, if you are prepared to study and anxious to learn, all is well. I passed Pre-Trip this AM. CDL school is a microcosm (tiny picture of process) OF LIFE.
Come prepared to study hard and have some humility. Don't be one of those folks who puts any emotion into this. It's kinda like wanting pretty flowers and not respecting or enjoying the process of gardening.
Thanks again to this site and valuable tools. If all goes well, I'll be earning a paycheck within the next few weeks.
