Hello, I've been browsing the site for a few days now comparing companies with training programs. The issues I'm having are a suspended license last year and my pitbull. I saw Jim Palmer had a no breed restriction pet policy but their recruiter says I'll need to wait 2 more years for the suspension to fall off my mvr. I've also seen posts about Prime accepting students as long as the suspension is a year old but they have a 30 lb. Limit on dogs. Does anyone know of a company that had a training program and part policy matching my situation? My current roommate will watch my dog for the training process but it is highly unlikely I have that option 2 years from now. Any options would be appreciated.

MVR:

Motor Vehicle Record

An MVR is a report of your driving history, as reported from your state Department of Motor Vehicles. Information on this report may include Drivers License information, point history, violations, convictions, and license status on your driving record.

Why was your license suspended? In trucking that is your livelihood. Companies take that seriously.

Sorry, meant to put that in there. My license was suspended for not having insurance. My tag and insurance were 12 days expired. I have 0 points against my license and had the suspension lifted 2 months later. I've kept insurance ever since as well.

A pit is going to be a no-no at a lot of places. It's the breed, not against a particular dog. A few bad ones ruin it for everyone.

Ain't that the story of my life. Lol Having her definitely narrowed the list down. I know a few will let me bring her I'm just hoping there's one that will and overlook the suspension. I may have to go with one that won't take her and pay the roommates a bit to look after her until I have more experience to get hired on with a carrier that will.
