In this Friday Short Haul passenger car drivers think they are safer drivers than truck drivers, the spotted lanternfly still on the move, and women drivers enjoy the equal pay of truck driving.

Those car drivers are definitely better drivers! Especially while talking, reading, eating, texting, sleeping, etc. behind the wheel.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

It would never happen for countless reasons, but I would love for there be a mandatory ride along in a truck before you can get or renew a license. Maybe then they would see how annoying and dangerous cars are.

At a minimum it would give me someone to talk to other than myself.

Interesting. Some of our DVIR pretrip slips have a little box that mentions lantern flies. I had no idea why until now.
