I have not seen you on here in a while. A lot of people I saw during my training and getting into the industry I dont see in here much anymore. Are you all around still? Look forward to talking to you all!

I'm here. I've been quite busy lately, and perhaps I've spent less time commenting in the forum. I still check in daily, and make comments when I see the need. How are things going for you? Are you making a big splash over at Pam?

Ah Old School I am so happy to hear from you! So yes I am over here at Pam Transportation and I am blessed. God gave me a second chance. I think my clean record helps a whole lot too. 0 tickets in the last 4-5 years. I am making some really high scores at C1 Tractor Trailer Training, and I am thankful for that. A splash? Well lets just say I am being VERY ZEALOUS to get good scores and to learn the most I can. We get to have our weekends off and thats always a blessing.

Here are my scores, So we took like 3 major tests earlier in the week and I got 88% on the entry level driver test and 96% on the DOT Written examination, and 96% on the Trip planning. I think thats accurate.. I have gotten 100% on air brakes, 92% on hazmat , 100% on tankers. Im happy I am doing well. I think I might go for my tanker and hazmat endorsements. Im a little fearful of doubles and triples.

So where has good Knight taken you?

HAZMAT:

Hazardous Materials

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Doubles:

Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
