Yea got to say I’m glad I drive for Prime. If we didn’t have tire sensor in our trucks wouldn’t of noticed a 3 lb lost. Once they found out it was leaking they said replace it. I’m sort of weird about tires. I check every trailer I pick up and check my tractor tires everyday. I don’t drive the white line, they say that’s where u pick up most garbage. And dang I get metal in the driver side.

So you're saying you do an inspection of the tires? Like, before the trip? Would you say you do it pre-trip? Like, you do a pre-trip inspection !
That's not weird, Donna. That's the law. You must do that.
I wouldn't read into it that the mechanic was being sexist. I've had plenty of mechanics over the years either lie to me or try to convince me I didn't know what I was talking about. It's not a sexist thing. It's a poorly skilled or unethical mechanic thing.
Nice job noticing that tire and staying with the situation until it was resolved.
A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.
Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.

I wouldn't trust a t/a tech to air up a tire. Watch them any time they are working on your truck.
There are some good ones out there, but there is a lot of terrible ones.
Gary is a great road advisor btw, I wish he was still mine lol.
