Robert...I'd just apply to every trucking company that you can.... Here's one way to apply to quite a few all at once...Truck Driving Jobs. With a felony draggin' behind you...you need to put yourself infront of every trucking company you can. We've had some guys come on here with the same problem...it took them some time, and alot of applications...but they got their drivers seat !!! So theres one out there for you...now its your job to find it...And we will help you all we can......

Thank you for the advice. I will get a resume together, start sending it out and let you know how things are going.

I'm in the same boat Robert and have probably the worst charge you can have for the trucking industry. However, I am able to have the offense discharged and have been told by several recruiters that I will be ready to roll once I have those discharge papers in my hand. I dont know where your'e going to school but utilize their placement staff as much as you can. After all, you've paid for their services.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

You can go to work for many companies. Yes, their are some who will close the door on you and that is fine. You didn't want to work for them anyway.

10 years is what most companies are looking for as far as how old the conviction is. It is hard I won't lie about it. But, It is NOT impossible. Research has shown that some of your best employees are convicted felons. They appreciate more the fact that they have a job. They will also work hard than most.

Don't kick your self too much or beat your self up. What's done is done. Can't change that. Won't change peoples minds about it either. You just keep on doing what you are doing now. TRYING! That's truly all any of us can do.

Last: NO MATTER WHAT, DON'T GIVE UP!

I got you in my prayers Robert. You will be just fine.

Yes, I have been there and done that!
