Hey all, I know I have been a regular on here for a while. Many of you know the hardships I have faced and demons i ha e had to conquer. Today, i conquered the demons of fear and nerves and passed the WA state exam. I only needed 1 pull up on the 90 (if you read my diary you'll know that I failed that 5 times)

I had a successful drive and I am excited for the next steps. I've already got some job leads too.

Thank you all for the support and words of truth when I needed to hear them.

I am also fully aware that this is just the first step, there is still alot of learning to do and I am open for the challenge!

Congratulations.

I am at "inbound" at Prime in Springfield which is right next to the testing pad.

My CDL examiner checked us in.

Even in this short time my CDL test seems so distant in my mind.

I'm sure it will be the same for you.

Welcome to the next phase of the adventure.

Rob.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
