So i me and another driver we'll call him mister happy were in the sr office it was late and i asked if i could shut down there. They said of course and Mr happy thanks me for asking because he has 2 hrs left on his clock. i get my instructions and head to where my spot is. Im still new to driving so I take it slow and I a G.O.A.L. almost everytime i stop. Well I get out and I hear someone blowing there horn at me. So I wave apologetically and continue. The whole time I'm backing this dude is blaring the horn at me. Now I have anger and anxiety so im not to explode and keep my cool. At this point yard jockey and other truckers are noticing the ruckus. So i get to where i can straight line to the hole im checking my mirror and everything around me no one there while im looking at my passenger side mirror and moving i here and someone pounding on my door. Of course it scares the crap out of me. I turned to look and its Mr. Happy. He climbed on my steps and started screaming and cussing and telling me im taking to long. Im confused because this dude was cool headed in the office then he's on my truck. At this point other truckers and yard jockey are running my way . Im just staring at the dude not realizing I reached down and grabbed my thumper. One of the drivers rips him off my truck and a yard jockey tells him to drop his trailer where it and get the F off the property. He argues with him and submits when the law is threatened on him. I finish my back and get to calm myself down all the other truckers make sure im ok because im shaking at this point. I told them I didn't know what to do i was shocked confused. One trucker looks down at my left hand and said Well you look like you were prepared. That is when I realized I grab my tire thumper because I was still holding on to it. Sorry for the long story. I just couldn't believe that really happened.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

You’ll have that in a small town without a dog catcher.

Don't sweat it Mike theres a ton of hot heads out there who shouldn't be behind the wheel. All you can do is take your time and make sure you're doing it as safely as possible. We've all been there and if he was in that big of a hurry he could've offered to spot you just to ensure you wouldn't hit anything. Even if you have a spotter you're to blame if you hit something so dont be afraid to G.O.A.L. still. The other day I was trying to back into a spot at a truckstop and starting getting ridiculed because it took me a couple pullups. The CB is so quiet most days I forget I have it on. There's always going to be that one person out there that feels their time is more valuable than yours and you need to bow down to them. Ignore that trash and just do your job =). You're doing can awesome job, keep doing what you gotta do to ensure you're not going to hit anything and you'll get more proficient at backing where you'll be able to nail a tight back on the first try. Then later you'll go to straight back and not be able to keep it straight in the dock smile.gif
