How do yall do it? I mean managing the work and job OTR plus trying to handle your personal life? The run run run has caught up with me today. I'm on my reset 34 at home. Getting caught up on somethings but realizing I wont have enough time today to get everything done at home that I need to before places close.

How do yall juggle all of this? I'm used to the typical work to home life with a couple days off to handle life. As it is I am forgetting to make important calls that I need to and all that.

Does it all just click one day? Any tips would he appreceiated.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Depends on what type of errands. If you don’t bank electronically, start. That eliminates one head ache. Not sure what the other errands are...if you list them I’m sure people will have suggestions

Do you have a headset connected to your smart phone?

My Blue Parrot is connected to my Samsung Note 8. I hit the button and say "create ( or edit) a Samsung Note."

Bixby says "sure what do you want to the note to say."

I say "call the Dr. today."

Done.

I can call later when I have time.

Well for example

1) car repairs - trying to coordinate my reset time where I can be home and able to get the car to my mechanic

2) dr appointments - I have some things that need to get looked at. We all have issues. What i am afraid of is being a new guy and being on ice with my employer due to then thinking I am trhing to not work s hard or perhaps game the system or something.

3) yes banking working on setting up eaccess and direct deposit

Those were the three biggest concerns I had. I probably shouldn't have posted this earlier as I was really tired. But what the hayball...its out now.

Thank you to all who replied

The company will want you to get to the doctor... and the car .. well... just make an appointment then tell dispatch you need to be home 2 days prior.

Keep a list on your phone calendar with an alarm to alert u.
