Anyone have any insight into working for Carlisle carriers be regional. I am walmart dedicated out of Pottsville currently n love it but the money is so small. Carlisle is offering me much more any help would b appreciated. Thanks

Regional:

Regional Route

Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.

No insight into Carlisle. I’ve worked on WM Dedicated our of Pottsville Pa for 7 years. I can assure you there is a lot of money to be made.

How long have you been driving and how long have you been on the account.

Happy to chat with you when our paths cross. I’m in South Jersey now; my ETA to 7030 is about 18:00-19:00.

New to this sight so not sure if I am continuing the conversation properly. Anyway thanks for your reply. I was in the stucco business for 40 years and took off for 3 years traveling South America and other destinations. Needed something to do n had always wanted my cdl. I only been working about 8 months driving. 5 months at wm. I just am frustrated at this money. I obviously am not a kid and have a lot of knowledge with equipment and driving. I just want to be paid a living wage compatible with the work I am doing and it appears not to be here. I haven’t decided what to do because I like it here along with the people in the office. I also live in south jersey. Cherry Hill Nj Thanks

CDL:

  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.

Michael, I replied to your first post and suggested that there is lots of money to be made on WM Dedicated. 5 months is not long...

I’m waiting in a dock out at 7030. If you want to chat, let me know I’ll meet you at the driver window.
