Have you considered going to Paid CDL Training Programs? You're guaranteed a job and usually have very minimal, if any, cost out of your pocket. When I checked RoadMaster in Tampa about 5 or 6 years ago it was about $8500.

I tried that but so far only one company responded so I might have to to the school route and then get a company to help with the tuition.

Have you tried CFI?
Miguel... Apply everywhere. What is the point of paying all that money if no company will hire you.? IF they wont put you through their own school.... Why would they help pay or put you in a truck at all? I would keep applying to various companies.
Hi Miguel. Right now I'm at Roadmasters. Yeah, the price ticket is kinda high but I absolutely LOVE Roadmasters. I went from not knowing lick about a semi truck. Now I'm ready to eval my way to the next stage. And can I say the instructors there are very kind. They want you to learn as much as possible and they want you to walk outta that school with a fresh, clean smelling CDL. I can't tell you how much appreciation I give to this school. It's amazing man. They got me on with May Trucking and will be heading their way October 1st. I'm nervous but extremely excited for my new career. But hey! It's completely up to you on where you want to go. Do as much research as possible on different schools and companies that provide school and a guarantee job!! For instance Titan Transfer has CDL training. They also pay you during orientation and training and there a very little students per Instructor so you will definitely get one on one time vs Roadmasters which will have between 10-15 students per Instructor. Good luck on your trucking journey!! Keep us updated.

Looking at TDI and Road Masters in Orlando. Anybody has any comments about these two schools. Talked to Road Masters and apparently they are only placing Drivers with Warren.
