I'm also from the central Arkansas area and took the 430 to work for years. I'm not sure how long the section from the bean field has been there but I agree, that short cut is not that well used. I have used it in a truck before but maybe not all gps systems route down it. There are no restrictions on that highway.

So i lived in central arkansas my most of life. I have always wondered why hardly any truck drivers take i430 to 40 west when it a straight shot to 40 with out having to go i30 through the bs of the capital area. Any know why this is?
