Driving The Western 11

Well y’all it’s jammer I got my new load assignment today pick up at tj max distribution center in north Las Vegas deliver to fife Washington I’ve never driven anything past car truck or semi anywhere past northern ca don’t know what rout they’re gonna send or what to expect anyone! I mean anyone with info on this particular run good ol jammer here would humbly take all advice given ... not scared of driving only failing 🤨 so please all info and knowledge much needed y’all be safe god bless and thank you in advance

Ouch that isn’t a easy run for sure. I’m sure company will give you a route to follow. Simplest way is shoot into cali over techappi and up I-5. Its a little farther but alot better road than running up US95.

Wow, yeah.. just chatted the other half up on that one.. what a RUN for a newbie~!! I googled it ..and it looks 'challenging' for sure! Jammer, I've got faith in you. Some of the folks on here have more faith in YOU .. than you do in yourself, methinks! Chin up, stay safe, and persevere. Safely.

I hear ya brother I’m working on it hunkered down in ely ng at that spot you found me thanks again slept till about 230 am wind rocking me awake lol like to give mike b a shout out too thanks for reaching out an giving me hand yesterday as always thanks to everyone here for all the guidance

Well I made delivery in fife on time I caught some crazy weather from ely all the way to fife but I made it y’all Georgia mike and Mikey b are top notch any other new truckers out there listen to all the advice given on here those 2 in particular literally saved my bacon!! Can’t say enough good about them they really had my back!!! Pj your right I would have much better liked goin up the 5 but that’s not the way they sent me ive gone over cabbage pass !! And several other beutiful places from Nevada Idaho Oregon and Washington !!! I’ve got a crazy drop tomorrow in east Pali alto ikea tomorrow in a parking carnage for diesel truck an trailers I’m super trippin on it but we shall see ... more to follow
