If solo I would go with the international. Much better ride than FL. If teaming i would want a FL since they have more room. Not sure about the Pete's. Last one I had was a 2016. Didn't have as much room as a FL. Could be different on the newer ones. Never even been inside a KW.

That's a beautiful truck Minnis!

Also, it's great to hear from you! I'm glad to know you are still out there getting it done!

Thanks Old School but like you I’ve been sidelined for a bit now with health problems. I have to have 6 teeth removed on the 15th. They keep getting infected causing abscesses which is causing a great deal of pain which in turn is sending my bp up to the 180’s over 100’s. Me and the boss man mutually agreed I shouldn’t be in a truck until it’s resolved. Just waiting on an appointment now. Also, I check in several times a week I just don’t post more often than not.

I like the Mack they just look nice !!!

Heya, out of sheer curiosity say you were going to a new company and had a choice of trucks in their fleet (all automatics) I'm curious which you would chose and why. I've only driven a 2014 Kenworth t680 8 speed, 2018 Freightliner Cascadia and 2018/19 International LT. These are all high end trucks with APU , inverters, fridge and double bunks. All either 2020 or 2021s.

Freightliner Cascadia Peterbilt 579 Kenworth T680 Volvo VNL 760 Mack Anthem

Again, which would you chose and WHY. ...Askin for a friend...lol.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

APU:

Auxiliary Power Unit

On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.

Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.

Hoping all went well with your oral surgery, Minnis. We miss ya up in here, AND on the road, these guys do!
