I don't know if this topic has been covered yet? But in the spirit of Anne's starter post of "Famous Quotes on Trucking Truth" Here is my contribution: "You know it's been a long week on the Road when".... You pull up to the fuel pumps in your personal vehicle and you reach over to a non existent ELD to change your "Duty Status" From "Driving" to "On Duty - Fuel Stop"..... lolrofl-1.gif rofl-1.gif

ROFLMAO~!! (I'll plug the above ^^^ as YOUR quote!) Our Jeep 'does' have an 'onboard thingy'.. so I know what you mean!! That's why 'I' drive on hometime, for the most part, haha!!!

Here's ours.. last Saturday, I went to Chewy in Vandalia w/the hubby (we have a 'no rider' policy due to Covid, but only way he'd accept the 2 runs on his day off....was to take me... on the down low, as i tell the world, haha!)

First load, easy peasy.

Second one.. .he's yapping at me, asking how they moved the dock in the 4 hours we went there and back? A.) they didn't B.) he pulled into the wrong slot...and it was at an angle! C.) i LET him sleep most of Sunday!

Excellent, Chris!!! Following.. cool idea!

I'm usually out for 4 months then take 5 days off. Does anyone else find that when the get in their car, they turn the key and wait for it to cycle before starting it....or jam their finger on the roof trying to reach up to hold the shelf above?
