Home! Got in yesterday at 0200, conked out and woke up mid morning to run the trailer to the yard so it can be switched from Giltner (sister company) to GLS and to repair a crossmember that got bent when a tire blew in Kentucky.

Got the last of my goats gone yesterday, so with it having snowed during the night, today will be stay inside and cook/freeze meals, do laundry and prepare to leave tomorrow with another cheese load going to Greensboro NC.

Auuuughh..the goats. Stay blessed, m'lady. I'm here for a yap anytime!

SOOOO ... here's MY morning, after paying the plow guy. . . and it DID snow afterwards, but .... is what it is. Sure got it cleaned up enough (the roundy round drive part) for Tom's truck.

HUGE SHOUT OUT TO PJ . . . it got down to 9degrees, and I married up a couple of drop cords, and plugged in the block heater. Yay, me! Tom didn't realize how cold it was, or was just too plumb tired.. dunno! (Methinks he'd make a REALLY BAD O/O, just saying!)

y’all be careful out in Iowa

I was off today so I was home where its safe. 40 vehicle pile up happened 30 miles east of Des Moines on i80 with a majority of those involved being commercial vehicles. Luckily nobody died but what a mess. Those 2 troopers are lucky to have not been in their cars after being crushed by a tanker. Hearing the terror in their voices over the radio gave me chills. Slow the hell down and park it. There's a reason travel wasn't advised most of the day. I'm headed out that way around 2am. Hopefully it's back open. Very poor look for the industry. That was just one of many multi vehicle accidents on 80 today.
