It's not people breaking in you have to worry about, it's being hit by a car or truck who's driver was distracted for a second.

True, I didn't think of that. For some reason in my mind I always go to it's always safer where there's no people. But that makes sense.

So whoever carries Instan Pot has 6qt? I was thinking about buying 3qt to take less space. Is it too small? Why 6qt?

I have a 6qt at home, so that's probably what I'd bring, just because I wouldn't have to buy one. If I was purchasing new, for just me on a truck, I'd get the 3 qt. If you have a freezing option on your truck, you could do up a whole mess of chili or shredded beef, or whatever in a 6 qt and eat for a long time without cooking...provided you don't mind eating the same thing day after day. It's awesome for pasta (if you eat it), no draining :)

I still like this concept: your engine can cook for you.

Available on Amazon ($17.00 paperback, $12.99 Kindle) and wherever finer culinary works are sold.

I ended up buying the 6qt because they were sold out of the 3 qt. I am now glad that I purchased the 6 qt, because as you mentioned, I may cook up large batches to last me several days. I also have a toaster oven. There is now a three in one, microwave, air fryer, and toaster oven combined that I am considering.
