Seriously, it is great to have you introduce yourself! Thanks for your compliments. It is always rewarding to know we are helping folks get the ball rolling.
I have been reading, and researching on here for around a year. I finally started The High Road Program a couple weeks ago. It helped me pass the Class A with hazmat endorsement today with only one missed questions out of all the tests. It was a trick question and I feel chose the correct/logical answer, but they say I missed it. I can drag the book out and show them that in fact they were incorrect...LoL Passing is the main thing. This is my official thanks to all involved in creating and maintaining the program. I did read out states complete manual once, after completing most of the course which tied everything together. It's a great course highly recommend it!
Howdy, @87Wrangler (...sure wish I owned one of those!! .. the Jeep that is, not you, haha!)
Do you have your sites set on a certain company yet?
Have you tried these links ?!?!? Brett's book is a 'must read!'
Becoming A Truck Driver: The Raw Truth About Truck Driving
Wish you the best, good sir!
A few other companies are in our 'cache' .. if none of these appeal to you. Sure couldn't hurt to do the 'one minute' application, though! Again, read Brett's free book; its amazing! (So is Old School.. the above poster !)

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
Still researching, companies. Had my heart set on one, with a very good training program, respectful people or least the ones I communicated with were,. Ultimately the owner said no because I live out of state, they have a no contract school and preferred that I move there to be accepted which I cannot do with two mortgages here. We plan to move there but in a five year plan. swift had a real smartass call me and would not chose them if they were the last co. on the planet because of what this arrogant smartass said, did I forget to mention that he was a royal arrogant smartass? They are still sending requests, but no thank you!! To clarify in my first post it was "OUR" states manual not "OUT" after posting and realizing the error I could not find a way to correct it. The esearch is still on for a Co. but now between Millis which I like their program, can train a couple hours from home, but would start my career with an auto restriction with them right out of the gate. actually with both millis and and cfi the restriction would be on my license...life is short and really do not want to redo something that should have been done right the first time. Just my honest opinion. CFI has already accepted me and have talked to Millis but no application sent to them yet..The search is still on so to speak, but would like to retire with my starter company...lost my job of 5 years in July because of the china virus....it has been life changing to say the least. Thank you again for your posts, helpful comments, and content, I have been using it to learn and grow as much as possible
Thanks Anne, read it last year
I jerked awake out of nowhere this morning at 12:34 am stammering to my sleeping wife that it is properly mounted and secure on both ends no cracks or dents not leaking no abrasions bulges or cuts with no missing lug nuts is the proper color yellow on front and red on the rear with a max index of 50....LOL

ps: Still following!
Operating While Intoxicated
CFI accepted you that's great. As far as the auto restriction goes it won't matter much. If you get out here, love it and plan to stick with your first company to retirement, CFI is all automatic. More and more companies are going to all auto fleets. It's about costs. They are now less expensive to operate than manuals.
If you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
Good luck.
Thank you again Anne, it's on our coffee table. Great minds think alike...lol and thank you Scott I know you love some cfi! I was happy to see that you were finally able to make it back to them driving again. You are who turned me in the direction to start my research on them!
