Is this two completely different carriers or are they the same company?

Howdy Anthony!!

SAME COMPANY~!!!

They used to go by Wil Trans more, when they were more 'in the pocket' with Jim Palmer. Wilson Logistics sounds more 'independent,' perhaps. Same place, however~! Our 'tags' used to id' them as Wil Trans .. now, we use Wilson Logistics, as they have chosen to.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hopefully! Still looking into the Medical issues. I am able to do what's required, but that doesn't mean that the Dr. Will agree! Checking to see if (my Dr.) Will give me a clean bill to take with me.

Understood.. That's what 2nd opinions are for, however ! ;)

Keep us posted; wish you well! There are MANY Wilson diaries going on in the Diaries section, since you've last been around. Some old, some new, some failed, some blew (hahaha!) ... at least worth taking a look at.
