I normally post in my solo diary but decided to start a new thread?

What are some of your favorite hole in the wall spots to take a 30 and grab something to eat? I get tired of truck stop food and cooking my own stuff.

Took some extra time out on my way to the DC and stopped at “kings wings” in Bessemer Al. Plenty of parking for a truck and the food is great.

I ate the cheese steak sammich before I took a picture 🤦🏻‍♂️

Off of exit 180 on i84 there is an small old school style truck stop, 2 big open gravel lots, fuel etc. They have killer freaking burgers and fries. I went there this past weekend when I was on a team drive/assessment (safety) with May this past weekend. The safety guy is an old school trucker with over 40 years experience, knew of this and a couple of other joints, real cool guy.

When I rmemeber the name of it ill post a new tag here

Joe's Diner at the Ayerco truck stop near Palmyra, Mo, West of Hannibal. South side of Hwy 36. It's a regular stop for me when I run through the area. I'm there as I type this, taking my 30. Had their tasty meat loaf lunch special with three sides for less than $10. I ordered, ate, paid, used the bathroom, bought some caffeine on the store side, and walked back to my rig and had 10 minutes left on my break. 1 minute now.

Betty's Truck Stop, Sweet Springs Missouri, just off of I-70. Small place with a big heart for truckers.

Comfort food. Makes you comfortable and sleepy.

Joel's BBQ on Interstate 10 at Exit 661 in Texas. There is a very small dirt lot next door. I stopped there today. They have very quick service and picnic tables inside and out

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

Frontier village exit 40 on I-70 in Richfield Utah. Park in back or walk over from the flying j across the street. The chicken fried steak is top notch.

Eagle's Landing Pilot in Beaver, UT. There's a Mexican restaurant inside with top notch food.
