First off welcome to the forum
To answer the question our current license will not make it so you can drive in the US. As far as obtaining a CDL here I believe you have to hold a US license for one year before you can apply for a CDL.

Woody nailed it. You need to have a regular US drivers license for a year before you can even apply for a CDL. So you'll have to move here and do something else besides trucking for a full year before you'll be qualified.
And your EU drivers license has no value. So you'll be going into school as if you've never drove a truck before.

An International license ,i did look this up,will allow you to drive non CDL vehicles. Meaning no big trucks. Your fine to drive around a normal car just not commerical vehicles.

Hi there I have some questions about cdl licence. First let me say that I'm from Greece and I have EU drivers licence and international can I work with that in US ??? And if yes do you know any company that hires foreigner ?? If not what go I need to get cdl licence and all the experience I have in EU does count or not ???
